Hi Everyone!!! Ian and I are ready to join you on our December cruise and the countdown has begun. YAY!! Ian is my son and he is 11 with autism. We have cruised with Autism on the Seas before, so please feel free to ask any questions.

We are very excited as we have never been to the Bahamas or Key West. I can't believe I have never taken him to Key West and we live in Florida, lol.

Can't wait to meet everyone!!!

Hi Heather-

We are going too. We have 4 kids--daughter Katie (11.5, ASD); son (8); daughter (6); and daughter (2). We'll also be traveling with my dad, his wife, and my older sister. We're all very excited! We live in FL too (Jax area). In fact, I think I heard about this cruise from an email which was forwarded from you somehow.

I grew up in FL and had never been to Key West until I was 39, and flew down from DC for a coworker's wedding there. I've been to Nassau twice, but not with kids. Should be fun.

You'll have to let me know what to expect.

Is your son on the GFCF diet? That's something I'm glad they offer on-board.

Glad you found Autism on the Seas. You will LOVE IT!! It's great you get to travel with family. It will be my son and I, and his "adopted Uncle Jamie" from AotS. Ian will not cruise without Jamie from the staff.

We are going to ports we have never been to, so no idea what to expect. I would love to get some families together and see if we can do a group trip in Nassau. Ian is not GFCF and won't touch the stuff.
